ORLANDO, FL – After searching the web to find tanning salon franchises that weren’t based in the Midwest, Greg and Tanya Stephens recently opened the first Midwestern South Beach Tanning Company facility in Grand Island, NE.
Founded in 2003, South Beach Tanning Company is headquartered in Orlando, FL and has locations throughout Central Florida, Tampa, Tallahassee, South Florida and Charlotte, NC. “South Beach caught our eye because of the South Beach vibe that the decor suggests,” said Tanya. “We felt that it would be fun and exciting and bring a higher-quality, boutique feeling that would be different from anything else offered in the area. The fact that they never closed a location in their ten-year history was very encouraging to us, as well.”
At the grand opening on October 25th, SBTC founders Brian and Heather Hibbard, along with members of the corporate staff, were present to participate in the ribbon-cutting that jump-started the grand opening festivities. The first 100 guests received significant discounts on VIP memberships and Devoted Creations products. Shortly after opening, a local Grand Island radio station broadcasted live from the brand new facility and Tanya offered listeners special offers and an invitation to experience the South Beach Difference. “Bringing a little bit of the South Beach sun and Devoted Creations lotions to this area is going to be fun, and we hope that this will be the first of more salons to come in Nebraska,” she said.
