How did you get into the tanning industry?
I am brand new to the tanning industry! I started working at Universal Insurance about six months ago where I was introduced to the world of tanning. You can really learn a lot about a business being on the insurance side of it.
What is the best thing about your job?
I love the company and everyone I work with every day at the office. It’s great to work with such welcoming people and consider them to be my mentors and friends. I’m not only new to the tanning business but I’m also new to insurance, so I have a lot to learn. Everyone has taken me under their wings to help me understand and grow in this business.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like being outdoors and staying active. I have two dogs and so I love grabbing some coffee and taking them for an early morning walk at the lake or on a hike. On the weekends, you can find me anywhere you can take a dog!
What’s your “pet peeve?”
My pet peeve is a messy bed. I can’t go to sleep at night unless the bed is made beforehand. (Even if this is minutes before I get in.)
What’s your favorite food?
Anything Italian! Cheese and tomato sauce … yum!
What’s your favorite TV show?
I’m going to have to say “Friends.” It’s the only show I can watch every episode over and over again.
What’s at the top of your “Bucket List?”
Going to Germany definitely takes the top spot. My father’s side of the family is from Germany and I have a list of places in the country that I want to see and explore. It would be a dream of mine to travel there with my grandmother. I’ve never been out of the country, so of course traveling anywhere would be amazing, but Germany is first on my list!
