HENDERSON, NV – Tan Las Vegas was recently chosen as the exclusive airbrush tan provider for the Miss Nevada United States beauty pageant.
Nadene Coronado, co-owner of Tan Las Vegas in Henderson, NV, will be busy this Memorial Day weekend. Her salon was chosen to spray-tan contestants in the upcoming Miss Nevada United States beauty pageant, which means Nadene could find herself tanning 30 or more of the pageant’s contestants. “This is a tremendous honor!” exclaimed Nadene. “There were many other companies that offered their services for this event, so we feel very fortunate to have been chosen as its exclusive airbrush tanning provider. We’ve been advertising this on our Facebook page and website.”
Nadene says she has one of her tanners to thank for the salon’s pageant participation. “She won the 2012 Mrs. Nevada United States pageant and is also the host for this year’s Miss Nevada United States pageant, so she encouraged us to get involved,” Nadene added. “Based on the value of the services donated to the winning contestants in multiple categories, the pageant’s organizers accepted us and named Tan Las Vegas a Platinum Sponsor.”
Although Nadene has spray-tanned bodybuilders and pageant contestants before, this will be her first time working directly with such an event. “I’m very thankful to have Norvell Skin Solutions’ airbrush system and sunless solutions,” she said. “We absolutely love their products and our clients love their results. We wouldn’t dream of using anything else.”
Nadene and Roy Coronado have owned and operated Tan Las Vegas for the past seven years, having purchased the business from its previous owners. The salon has three levels of UV tanning, custom airbrush tanning and a sunless spray booth, as well as a variety of membership programs.
