1. How did you get into the tanning industry?
[gap height=”15″]
I had recently stepped away from a sales position in the professional beauty industry and was working as a buying consultant/marketing manager with a new company, Acosta Sales and Marketing, when I was approached by a good friend, Brandon Cardinal of Performance Brands tanning products. He offered me a weekend gig speaking and working the expo circuit during the busy season. That was almost 17 years ago!

2. What do you like most about your job?
[gap height=”15″]
I work with amazing and incredibly intelligent entrepreneurs and some of the greatest people I know. I’ve made long-lasting friendships which will impact my life forever. In addition, a large part of what I do is educating, and this also gives me a sense of fulfillment in knowing I was able to help.

3. When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up to be?
[gap height=”15″]
At first, I wanted to grow up to be a princess … what little girl didn’t! After growing a few years older and accepting the hard reality that it wasn’t in my cards, I wanted to be a psychologist or a cosmetologist as both help people and made them feel good about themselves.

4. What’s your biggest “pet peeve?”
[gap height=”15″]
As the proud mother of four- and six-year-old sons, I have absolutely no patience for unfriendly, rude people. When shopping or out and about, both of my boys feel the need to say “hello” or try to give a compliment to almost everyone and it’s so frustrating to see them all excited to make eye contact with a complete stranger, put on the biggest smile and say, “I really like your shirt” or “you’re doing a great job” only to be frowned at or completely ignored while they look at me as if they’ve done something wrong.

5. What song would you sing at Karaoke night?
[gap height=”15″]
“Picture” by Kid Rock w/Sheryl Crow. Some of you may have even heard me “try” to sing it back in the day. LOL

6. If you were a super-hero, what power would you have?
[gap height=”15″]
The ability to master any skill instantly – be that a trade, language, musical instrument etc.

7. Necessities aside, what one thing could you not go a day without?
[gap height=”15″]
My Boys! I never knew how much a person could love until I became a mother. I am so grateful and thank God every day for the opportunity to be Nick’s and Logan’s mom!
