[gap height=”20″]January 13-14, salon professionals and members of the tanning industry gathered at the Hilton Hotel in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ for the annual event hosted by PC Tan. For over 20 years, the regional trade event has offered educational and networking opportunities to salon operators and staff, this year numbering over 225 in attendance.
[gap height=”20″]On January 13, spray-tan certification was presented by experts from California Tan Sunless and Norvell Skin Solutions. The agenda on January 14 featured discussions with a panel of experts including industry veteran Robbie Segler of Texas-based salon chain, Darque Tan, as well as popular tanning product creator and former reality TV star, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley. Salon operators were able to speak with representatives from over 20 product and service providers, who exhibited their latest offerings including new tanning systems and lotions. Attendees were also treated to a gourmet lunch and received gift bags.
[gap height=”20″]“What a great way to start off 2017!” commented PC Tan President, Susan Miller. “Everyone was feeling optimistic, both salon operators and product vendors. The speakers were fabulous and engaged with the attendees.”
[gap height=”20″]Of course, Team PC Tan never disappoints when it comes to great prize giveaways. The Grand Prizewinners were Yvonne and Ken Jackowski of Pink Coconut Tanning Club in Allentown, PA, who went home with a 55” 4K Smart TV and a barcode scanner for their salon.
