On February 10, 250 tanning salon professionals joined PC Tan at its 20th annual event and went back to their businesses with game-changing equipment, the best products the industry has to offer, a plethora of new ideas and enhanced motivation.

The 2018 PC Tan Expo in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ featured industry-leading tanning and wellness equipment, products and accessories from the biggest names in the business, and spectacular presentations from PC Tan and vital figures in the industry.

The highest revenue-generating KBL tanning beds and the Cocoon Wellness infrared pod took center stage at the event. Also featured were VersaSpa and Norvell sunless equipment and tanning products and accessories from all the industry’s most prominent brands. Many attendees took advantage of some of the best deals of the year, setting themselves up for a more prosperous 2018 with great value on elite equipment and products.

A high-energy main stage featured presentations from some of the industry’s leading salon owners, vendors and consultants. Keynote speaker Robbie Segler, whose Houston, TX-based Darque Tan chain has grown to more than 75 stores, captivated the audience with innovative sales script concepts. Featured speaker Joe Levy, from Smart Tan and the American Suntanning Association, encouraged attendees to be proud of their careers in tanning and to take the necessary steps to ensure their futures in the business will be bright.

Paul Manke, PC Tan Vice President of Sales, pushed salon professionals to become the rock stars of tanning by mimicking the dedication and branding strategies of famous entertainers. Other speakers included representatives from New Sunshine, Devoted Creations, Sun Evolutions, Norvell and VersaSpa, and an expert panel of leading salon owners.

The delicious “Taste of New York” gourmet luncheon was a sight to behold, with a remarkable view of the New York City skyline. Everyone took home gift bags, but 18 attendees were also lucky enough to walk away with great prizes like an iPad, a 50” Smart TV and an autographed Eli Manning New York Giants jersey.
