1. How did you get into the tanning industry?
I had recently stepped away from the beauty industry and was working as a buying consultant/marketing manager when I was approached by a good friend, Brandon Cardinal, who offered me a weekend gig speaking and working the show circuit for Performance Brands tanning products during the busy season.
2. What is the best thing about your job?
I work with amazing and incredibly intelligent entrepreneurs and some of the greatest people I know. I’ve made long-lasting friendships which will impact my life forever. In addition, a large part of what I do is educating and this also gives me a sense of fulfilment in knowing I was able to help.
3. How do you spend your spare time?
I have two of the most amazing little boys in the world! My sons Nicholas and Logan are my everything; every spare moment I get is dedicated to them and my awesome husband, Patrick.
4. What’s your “pet peeve?”
Now, as a parent of a two-year-old, I have absolutely no patience for unfriendly people. When shopping or out and about, my son feels the need to say “Hello” to everyone, and it’s the most frustrating thing to see him all excited to make eye contact with a complete stranger, put on the biggest smile and say “Hello” only to be frowned at and ignored while he looks at me as if he has done something wrong.
5. What’s your favorite food?
It’s a specialty taco called a Morales taco served at an awesome little restaurant called Los Tres Amigos. The shell is like a flaky pie crust, deep fried, filled with meat and potatoes plus lettuce and cheese on top. Amazing!
6. What’s your favorite TV show?
I really don’t have a favorite TV show; however, any chance I get to snuggle up on the couch and put my feet up after a long day of working and chasing my boys is great to me! But, I’m not going to lie: I do enjoy my fair share of reality TV on Bravo. I mean, who doesn’t like to watch some crazy drama unfold as long as it doesn’t pertain to your own life or real world issues?
7. What’s at the top of your “Bucket List?”
I thought about this question for a few days, and to be honest, I don’t have a Bucket List nor do I feel the need to make one. The most important things to me are my husband and sons and as long as we are healthy and happy, I have everything I could ever want to experience in life. Each and every day with them is a blessing and makes me feel on top of the world!
