1. How did you get into the tanning industry?

Shortly after graduating from college in 2001, I interviewed for a project management position doing software implementations at SunLync. The rest is history, and I’ve loved every minute of it!

2. What do you like most about your job?
[gap height=”15″]
The best thing is the team that I’ve had the opportunity to work with each and every day. They have truly become extended family. The second-best thing (I know, I was only asked for one) is the privilege of seeing our customers grow and expand their businesses while our software product has evolved over the years.

3. How do you spend your spare time?

Well, I have a four-year-old and an 18-month-old at home, so I don’t have much time to spare! But when I do, I enjoy camping, boating and jet skiing with my “boys” (aka, my husband and two sons).

4. Do you have a “pet peeve?”

I have to say that my biggest pet peeve is when I’m boarding a plane and see a fellow passenger (there is always one) with their very large “carry-on” roller bag, insisting on opening every closed (because it’s FULL) overhead compartment on the plane, trying to fit their bag. This, of course, is after they’ve already been told repeatedly by the flight attendants that there is no more space and that all remaining carry-ons must be checked. (Can you tell that this one drives me crazy?)

5. What’s your favorite food?

When I’m traveling, I love to try whatever food is synonymous with the local area. But my absolute favorite food, no matter where I am, has to be cheese pizza (no toppings).

6. Do you have a favorite TV show?
[gap height=”15″]
These days, if I have time to watch TV, it’s usually a cartoon of some sort with my kids. But whenever I can, I catch up on episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy,” as I’ve been hooked on it since Season 1.

7. If we look at your “Bucket List,” what’s at the top?

My job has provided me with the opportunity to travel to many amazing places and countries that I may never have otherwise visited. I’ve been to many of the United States, but would love to visit all 50 at least once.
