How did you get into the tanning industry?
There are many moments that led to the founding of Norvell Skin Solutions, but indeed there was one defining moment that began my journey in the skin care industry. At the age of four, I was burned over 40% of my body. Struggling with scarring and no real remedy that worked, I was later inspired to formulate my own body cream. Years later, from that product, Body Drench was born.
What do you do in your spare time?
Though I prefer not to call it “spare” time, I work diligently to make time for my family. They deserve the time I take to share life’s moments with them – big and small.
What’s your “pet peeve?”
Quite simply put: inconsiderate people. I believe we should all live by “The Golden Rule.”
What’s your favorite food?
I can’t get enough of a spicy, hot Mexican salsa and the pasta and marinara sauce my wife, Stacie, makes.
What’s your favorite TV show?
The Voice. I try never to miss an episode!
What’s at the top of your “Bucket List?”
Near the top would be an opportunity for Stacie and me to jump in our RV and take a slow, easy-paced tour of the U.S. and Canada. We would see all of the sights from the Grand Canyon to Yellowstone, to the Giant Redwoods and California’s famous Pacific Coast Highway. No set schedule … just roll from one adventure to the next.
What is the best thing about your job?
It affords me the opportunity to work with my family, be creative and do what I love. I don’t consider my business a “job.” It’s truly a passion of mine.
