We truly believe that our industry will come back strong after these challenging times. As tanning professionals, we know there are only three ways to get that golden glow that so many seek: uncontrolled outdoor UV exposure; controlled indoor UV exposure; sunless tanning. The professional UV-tanning experience offered in your facility cannot be recreated at home. So, people are going to come to your business to re-establish their tanning and skin care routines. Many will have used up their vacation time and will be staying close to home; however, they still want to look and feel good. Think of it this way: people can do many of their own beauty services at home – they can address the grey hair, do their own manicures, waxing and even give themselves facials, but there is no “DIY” option for them to get the beautiful, golden tan to which they are accustomed.
Taking an optimist’s view, your tanners will be back with positive energy and many stories to share. The good news is they WILL be back. Your salon is the vacation they need and can afford. You make people look good and feel good!
