INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Last November, Swedish Beauty donated over 400 moisturizers to Bridgeport Elementary School in Indianapolis. Students at the school have been collecting clothing and toiletries for the local homeless community and were encouraged to bring in items that meet basic daily needs. Students, their families, and local businesses like Swedish Beauty donated soap, toothpaste, body lotion and other items in anticipation of the winter season ahead. The collected items were then donated to Take it to the Streets Community Group, a non-profit organization that travels throughout the community, delivering warm meals and toiletries to those in need.
At Bridgeport Elementary, students are learning how kids can become change agents within their communities. This annual drive allows them to see how their collective efforts help make the world a better place. As representatives of the Indianapolis community, Swedish Beauty is proud to participate in this campaign and support its local residents.
