1.How did you get into the tanning industry?

After working at a beer and liquor company for nearly ten years, I was looking for a change. A friend introduced me to the Kevin Apgar, President of JW North America (then Cosmedico), and I ended up interviewing for a position with the company back in 2012. The rest is history!

2.What do you like most about your job?

I really like the people I have met since entering this industry. I work with great folks at my offices in Massachusetts and Georgia, and my German colleagues are awesome people, as well. The thrill for me comes while traveling and meeting with all of my friends throughout JWNA’s distribution network. I really enjoy watching them work hand-in-hand with the hardworking salon owners across the U.S. and Canada. The people on the ground level are the heartbeat of this industry, and I feel fortunate to support them in any way possible.

3.How do you spend your spare time?

Almost all of my spare time is spent chasing around my five-year-old son, Logan. From hockey and soccer practice to school and the occasional jam session, he keeps me moving to say the least. I thank God for my wife Kristen, the real hero in our clan. I often think she’s into some kind of magic, because I don’t know how she gets everything done each day – it is beyond belief. My refuge is on Sundays when I get to watch Bill Belichick and the Patriots beat up on the rest of the NFL … it never gets old!
