The challenges faced by tanners who also enjoy having their nails done is something Chris Scheurn, GOTCHA Covered President and Marketing Director, knows all too well. “Our experience has taught us that UV-protective nail polish products don’t always guarantee protection, and the vast majority of commercial nail salons don’t utilize premium nail products,” Scheurn said. “The spray-booth tanner is also plagued by a similar problem – sunless tanning solution residue on nail treatments, pedicures and in their cuticles. This results in an ongoing battle between tanning and effective care of beautiful nails.” With the cost of acrylic nails ranging $50-$90, fill-ins from $20-$45 and French manicures from $15-$65, Scheurn says the reusable NAILSavers system is a wise, $15 investment for tanners to make. “These products have already saved thousands of women the frustration of yellowed nail treatments because they assure 100 percent UV protection,” she added.
