INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Designer Skin has always prided itself on making products that are never tested on animals. DS loves all furry friends and knows that their fans do, too. Any time there is an opportunity to support animals, the brand jumps at the chance to help.
Designer Skin recently donated samples of Ravish Me to VIP Swag Bags gifted at a charity fashion show called “Giving Back … the New Black” hosted by Pacific San Diego Magazine and My Sister’s Closet, a non-profit women’s boutique. There were 200 people in attendance at the event with all proceeds benefiting the Helen Woodward Animal Rescue Center.
The event featured a celebrity stylist, manicure bar, hair station, makeup bar, fashion show and on-site pet adoptions. All the latest summer fashions strutted down the runway on a stage in front of My Sister’s Closet, many of the models walking with dogs from the animal rescue!
The Helen Woodward Animal Rescue Center is a non-profit animal shelter located in San Diego. They are a no-kill facility that has been in business for over 40 years and depends heavily on donations and volunteers to keep running effectively.
