Traveling to exciting cities and constantly meeting new people are only a few perks of being a Sales Trainer at New Sunshine, LLC. Shalene Fisher, the newest member of the expert UV and Sunless Team, couldn’t be more proud to work for a company that “sets the bar so high in the tanning industry.” Since joining the New Sunshine family and being on the road for the past few months, we asked Shalene what her top piece of advice is for other new trainers. She quickly responded, “Communication is key, of course! Being relatable when speaking to salon staff really pays off. If you can gain their trust and connect with them on multiple levels that aren’t all related to selling, you will have a deeper bond that allows them to remember extra details. They can then use the same techniques that are relevant to their salon guests and build a lasting relationship with them!”
Shalene loves the fact that New Sunshine lays the groundwork for a tight-knit, family-type culture because it is something she values most. The importance of family was instilled at a young age by Shalene’s grandparents and this key value is evident in everything she does. On her days off, you can find her rock-climbing, running half-marathons or playing tennis with her very athletic younger sisters and cousins. She is thrilled to find a company that puts the same values first and looks forward to a bright future with her New Sunshine family!
