How did you get into the tanning industry?
When I was growing up in Minnesota, my parents owned a series of flower shops, and in the back of the shops, they had tanning beds made of wood. This was my introduction to the tanning industry. When I was 21, I answered an ad for a job at a start-up tanning product distributor called TW TAN.
What do you like most about your job?
I love helping people achieve their goals and become successful in spray-tanning, giving them the confidence that comes from knowing what they can do.
How do you spend your spare time?
I like to relax and do things with my family.
Do you have a “pet peeve?”
My biggest pet peeve is people who think they deserve or are owed something. You get what you work for.
What’s your favorite food?
I like a steak and for a side dish, more steak.
What’s your favorite TV show?
The Walking Dead – it’s not just about zombies, it’s about the struggle of man.
If we look at your “Bucket List,” what’s at the top?
I would love to take a world cruise with my wife Tennille, with nothing to do but chill, relax, and repeat.
