1. How and when did you start working in the tanning industry?
I would have to say it’s been pretty much my whole life! (LOL) I started in 1995 when I was in high school – our local tanning salon was “THE place to work.” I continued working there through college (University of Tennessee at Martin). During my sophomore year, I was promoted to store manager and after I graduated from college, I was promoted to director of sales for a 24-location salon chain. I started working at Four Seasons in 2012 and have been here ever since.
2. What’s something people would never guess about you?
I was a rodeo athlete on the teams at Tennessee High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. I competed in Barrel Racing, Pole Bending and Goat Tying.
3. What’s a movie you can practically quote from start to finish?
“Elf” starring Will Ferrell. “I just like to smile. Smiling’s my favorite.”
4. What is your favorite sport to watch?
I love to watch Chuckwagon Races (Google it.) It is one of the most dangerous and exciting sports you will ever see! My husband Jeremy and I attend the National Chuckwagon Races at the Bar o f Ranch in Clinton, AR every year.
5. What might you sing at Karaoke Night?
Ummm … no one would want to hear that! But driving down the road in my vehicle, you may hear me singing anything by The Band Perry or Casting Crowns.
6. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I love a medium-rare prime rib steak with a salad.
7. How would your friends describe you?
I’m quite sure one word they would use is energetic, because I have one speed: fast! I walk very fast everywhere I go – some say I walk faster than they can jog. I would like to think they would also say I am passionate and kind. I am passionate about what I do no matter what it may be, tending to my flowers at home or trying to make someone smile who may be having a bad day
