1. When you were a kid, what did you want to grow up to be?
A singer, of course! I would belt out songs into my hairbrush-microphone like I was performing live in concert!
2. What is the best thing about your job with Four Seasons?
Oh, my goodness – it’s hard to decide on one thing; but I would say it’s meeting my salon customers at our expo events! I always love the chance to put a face with a voice I’ve heard on the phone so many times.
3. What song(s) might we hear you sing at karaoke night?
“Party Up (Up in Here)” by DMX or “Brick House” by The Commodores.
4. If you had a “Warning” label, what would it say?
“WARNING: No filter! I call it like I see it!”
5. What are you most excited about in your life right now?
As a recent empty nester, it’s great to know that I raised a good human and to plan the fun adventures my husband Brian and I will be having.
6. What’s something people would never guess about you?
My real name is Betty. When I was hired at Four Seasons, there were two other “Bettys” on the staff, so I had to pick an alternate name. I’ve always loved “I Love Lucy” so I went with it!
7. How did you end up working in the tanning industry?
Funny story … I had worked in the automobile industry for 18 years when the company sent all but ten of our jobs to Mexico in a mass layoff. I was fortunate enough to interview with Four Seasons, was hired and never missed a day of employment. Fifteen years later, I still love this industry and helping salon owners be successful.
