How did you get into the tanning industry?
I was working for a marketing agency when someone from JK Products & Services reached out to me about an in-house marketing position. Learning more about the company and what the job would involve, I didn’t hesitate to accept the position. Ergoline is one of the brands that live under JK Products & Services. I’ve fallen in love with Ergoline, and with being a part of the growth and development as Ergoline continues to lead the tanning industry.
What do you like most about your job?
I am an artsy, creative person. Every day, I come into the office and create or design something. There is always something new; that’s the part that I love the most. I also love seeing my work out in the world. When I write something, design something for social media, or create an ad for IST, I love seeing it out in the world.
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas! I am a big family person. I love coming together and seeing all of my family together. The day is also full of traditions, like cinnamon rolls in the morning and a wonderful lunch/dinner full of some of my favorite meals cooked by my mom. We exchange gifts and soak in the spirit of what it means to have a happy, healthy family.
If you had a warning label, what would it say?
WARNING: I am stubborn. I get really excited about ideas or concepts and it can be hard to change my mind, and it may frustrate me to hear “no.” (I like to call it passionate. That’s what happens when you put someone in a position who LOVES what they do!)
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I don’t like it when people interrupt me or others when they are talking. I was raised to let people finish their thoughts. It irks me to the core when I hear a person talking over someone! LET THEM FINISH! Don’t be rude…
Necessities aside, what one thing could you not go a day without?
My planner … I write down everything. I love staying organized and keeping up with my to-dos in my planner. I can be creative and make it my own. This also gives me a space to release more creative energy.
What is your spirit animal?
Well, according to a couple of online tests, I have two: a butterfly and a wolf. I can relate to both. I love to go with the flow and I can be somewhat sensitive, but I love my “pack” and I consider myself a very social and loyal person.
