Breed/Species: Jack Russell Terrier
The Story: About 11 years ago, a friend was moving and couldn’t take Chaucer. He was six months old at the time and I took him in! He quickly became the light of my life and I know it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
My favorite thing about Chaucer: When he’s excited, he wiggles his butt and smiles. Even after 11 years, I still laugh when he does it! His nickname is ‘Wiggle Butt” because of that habit.
Tricks/talent: He knows the usual commands such as sit, stay, etc., but his most valuable talent is making me smile after a long day at work, or a long week on the road.
Comments: Chaucer loves attention and won’t leave your lap once you start to pet him. He loves French fries from McDonald’s so when my partner is not home, I grab an extra order for Chaucer; it’s our little secret.
