WESTBURY, NY – Besides bringing tanners fabulous color, Designer Skin is dedicated to helping raise money for good causes. Recently, DS sponsored gift bags for a fundraiser hosted by the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA). RSDSA is dedicated to supporting, educating and helping find a cure for CRPS.
What is CRPS? CRPS, or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, is a chronic neurological syndrome characterized by severe and relentless pain. CRPS is most commonly caused by injuries and surgeries. It affects millions of people every year and there is no cure to date.
After learning about this painful disease, Designer Skin was happy to help in any way possible. Held in Westbury, NY the event raised $3,000 to fund research in hopes of finding a cure for this disease. If you would like to learn more about what you can do to support RSDSA, visit rsds.org.
