My pets’ breed/species: “Goldens”
The story: We found them through Golden Retriever rescue association (GRRAND), 1 .5 and 2.5 years ago, respectively.
My favorite thing about my pets: One is a “snorter” that makes pig noises when she’s excited, and the other is a “talker” when she’s in a playful mood.
My pets’ tricks/talent: Cassie can catch a treat in the air better than any big league ballplayer and unfortunately, her resultant girth reflects that skill. Bailey greets everyone at the door with one of her squeaker toys and a complete tail and body wag … some watchdogs we have!
Comments: Playing “squeaker tug” with these two, whose combined weight is 170 pounds, is fun, but hard work.
