The Story: My mom rescued Charlie from an owner who didn’t love or want him. When she first brought him home, he didn’t like to be held or even touched. He continued to live with my mom for almost three years, but something was missing in his life. Charlie loved my mom dearly, but needed a house with boys in it, someone to run and play fetch with. He came to live with us four years ago and has been a truly happy dog since then.
My favorite thing about my pet: Charlie is a lover! He wants to be near us, cuddling at all times. At night, he climbs under the covers to sleep.
My pet’s trick/talent: When he hears the rattle of a cookie jar lid, he knows he gets a peanut butter crème-filled cookie if he can sit & stay.
