Breed/species: Great Dane
The story: Zoey was adopted September 27, 2012; Daphne on June 9, 2013. My husband and I found a breeder nearby and went to see the last two puppies she had available. We immediately fell in love with Zoey and brought her home the next day. Less than nine months later, we found out that someone was surrendering one of Zoey’s littermates back to the breeder, and we knew right away we had to adopt her. We brought Daphne home and the two girls were fast friends.
My favorite thing about my pets: They are both hard-core cuddlers! They may be huge, but they still attempt to sit in our laps and stay as close to us as possible.
Tricks/talents: Zoey & Daphne are both very talented at tug-of-war. They each latch on to one end of a chew-toy and their pulling match provides endless entertainment for everyone in the room.
Comments: I created a website for Zoey at princesszoeypants.com, and I update it every month with new pictures and videos of both dogs (because apparently, I’m obsessed).
To sum up my pets in one word: Cuddles!
