When it came to naming one of its newest products in the Love Me collection, Pro Tan turned to a classic that’s still true today – Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend. “This creamy gelée contains our proprietary 50XXX Black Bronzing Complex with Luminous Bronzing Beads,” said David McFarland, Pro Tan National Educator. “These beads explode with extra cosmetic bronzer when rubbed into the skin to deliver bronzing in three stages – the immediate, natural bronzer, the color release from the beads and the eventual DHA reaction. It also contains our proprietary Diamond Dust formula that illuminates the skin and gives it a sexy radiance.” Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend has a Plumeria scent and a suggested retail price of $32.

For the second new product in its Love Me line, Pro Tan went straight to the top of today’s Billboard charts. “We chose to name it Call Me Maybe! for the immensely popular song, which helps make it attractive to the young, college demographic,” McFarland said. “This product is a super accelerator with a mega-dose of skin-firming ingredients, and it lives up to that! It’s perfect for anyone from a beginning tanner to those who’ve hit a plateau with bronzing lotions.” Call Me Maybe! has a Modern Citrus Floral scent and an $18 MSRP.

Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend and Call Me Maybe! represent more than just a lotion sale, these products are investment’s in a tanning salon’s future. “Every product in the Love Me collection is infused with Aloe Vera, vitamins A, C and E, and our proprietary CX2 Skin-Firming Complex with Caffeine, L-Carnitine, Coenzymes A and Q,” McFarland said. “Ingredients such as these and many others are designed to spoil the age 18-28 demographic and help them to appreciate higher-end tanning products as they get older.”
