[gap]1) How did you get into the tanning industry?
[gap height=”15″]I had worked with a friend, Gavin Brown, who was previously in the tanning industry and in 1995 was offered a sales opportunity at Forever Tan. Three months later, he was able to get me an interview and 21 years later, here we are – still working together.

2) What do you like most about your job?
[gap height=”15″]Meeting and helping people who are pursuing the American Dream of owning a business, using my experience not only as an equipment consultant, but also as a salon owner who knows what it takes to be successful. I personally know the different emotions of excitement, stress, patience and others that they may experience in the early stages of a new business and be able to maneuver them through, on their way to success.

3) How do you spend your spare time?
[gap height=”15″]I spend it with my daughter Emma Lou, our dog Deagen (Harlequin Great Dane) and his dog, Dixie (English Bulldog). Yes, our dog has his own dog. I enjoy the gym regularly, healthy cooking, boating and golf. I really enjoy volunteering, and I’m also involved in student ministry at my church. We’ll be going on a mission trip to Guatemala at the end of this month.

7) If we look at your “Bucket List,” what’s at the top?
