Since communication is vital to the success of your business, shouldn’t you have a tool that aids you in communicating with your team on a regular basis? Having a salon management software program that enables the use of electronic communication will surely prove to benefit your overall operation.

Do you want to disable Internet access at your salon (so that your staff can’t spend time on social media sites or shop online while on the clock), but still want a fast and easy way to communicate with them? Keeping your business running like a well-oiled machine and quickly resolving matters that may impede the efficiency of the daily operations is imperative. A computerized equipment maintenance system should enable staff to address anything from an issue with a tanning bed to a problem with the facility’s central A/C unit. Has one of your staff ever accidentally sent a guest to a tanning room with a bed in need of maintenance because they didn’t see the sticky note that their coworker left on the counter earlier that day? To prevent this from happening, wouldn’t it be great to allow an employee to inactivate equipment as needed? And better yet, what if the maintenance request submitted was automatically assigned to the person responsible for bed repairs?

Because you can’t be at your salon every waking hour, it’s essential that your staff has a method of communicating issues and requests on behalf of your guests. When it comes to customer service issues, quick and efficient resolution is crucial, so it’s important to have a resource that helps to facilitate a decision on how to address the matter, while updating both your staff and your valued customer on how the situation will be handled.

Communication is vital to the success of your business. Whether it’s internal email, the ability to create task lists for your staff, or quickly resolving maintenance or guest-related issues; having one piece of software to handle it all is ideal. The ability to keep in contact with all of the necessary parties at any given time of day will help drive your business toward success. Ease of communication is key. So, again I ask, shouldn’t you have the power of a tool that makes communication seamless?
