INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Designer Skin is known for launching great lotions without testing products on animals. The anti-animal cruelty statement, “We ♥ our furry friends and never test our products on animals!” can be found on the back of many Designer Skin products.
DS customers also care about the ethical treatment of animals. Recently, a DS customer tweeted PETA a picture of the anti-animal cruelty statement on the Conceited lotion package. PETA tweeted back saying, “Aww – that’s adorable!” This tweet was broadcast to over 400,000 PETA followers! “It is great that our products have the support of such a well-known animal organization,” remarked Assistant Brand Manager, Hillary Hammond.
