IRVING, TX – Irving-based Solar Armour, LLC., creators of a line of UV-protective outerwear, launched a new and improved version of their online presence in September, which can be found at solararmourinc.com.
Several years ago, Solar Armour products were created by entrepreneur and CEO Glenn Cole, who developed the line of high-performance UV wear out of a personal need. Offering UV protection is a company directive and its product line reflects this principal commitment.
“All of the product lines we create are not only protective in nature, but stylish as well,” said Cole. “I’ve always been a big fan of outdoor sports – golf, running, you name it, and I just couldn’t find suitable UV-protective products that appealed to me. I began to experiment with moisture-wicking materials and came up with several different examples, each with a specific application,” he added.
While Solar Armour products have been available for purchase online through channels such as Amazon and eBay, they can now be purchased directly from the new website.
“We’ve put a lot of thought and hard work into developing these products,” said Cole. “With this new website, we’ve made everything accessible to the public through one central channel,” he added.
