Los Angeles – Designer Skin celebrates originality, creativity and motivated individuals. UCLA’s Fashion and Student Trends (FAST) organization also values these qualities and provides a platform for students to study them along with other talents. So when DS was approached by FAST to sponsor the VIP gift bags for their Spring Fashion Show, the brand was delighted to get involved with such an empowering organization.
On May 22, UCLA FAST held their annual fashion show featuring models, photographers, designers and hair and makeup artists all from the college. Over 1,000 people were in attendance, with proceeds benefitting charities and organizations local to L.A. Designer Skin donated hundreds of lotion samples to be placed in the VIP gift bags, as well as Faux Natural™ Sunless Lotion for the models, who looked perfectly bronzed on the runway.
FAST is a student organization giving those interested in fashion and public relations the opportunity to use their unique talents and skills. FAST was founded 14 years ago and is dedicated to providing opportunities for leadership experience, fashion design skills, event production, fashion blogging and career exploration. They promote philanthropy, leadership, creativity and self-expression.
