Happy New Year!
As a businessman, I do feel that 2017 will bring us reasons to be happy; it’s been a long time coming. More about that later.
As always, we have many happy words from the winners of our 2016 Industry Choice Awards. Wolff System President, Mike Stepp gave IST a shout-out for our focus on giving salon operators information they can really use. I’m very proud of what we produce every month, and I feel that the ICAs have set us apart for many years. The quotes from the 2016 winners are testament to that.

This issue is extra heavy due to our Annual Buyers Guide. If you’re getting ready to order products and equipment for the season, give it a look. With this issue, we wrap up Volume 20 of IST Magazine! And, I head into 2017 with renewed optimism for our country and for the tanning industry under the pro-business Trump Administration. His historic election will, hopefully, mean that we can be confident in the future of our businesses, invest in upgrades and plan for growth – I certainly am!
