Since we launched Sun is Life Training in 2011, my salon teams are required to complete the program as new-hires. We’ve found it gets everyone on the same page and gives them confidence to represent my salons in a professional manner. Speaking of my salons, you’ll find a story in this issue about Tropi Tan’s 40th anniversary. It’s hard to believe! It’s fun to take a look back – I hope you enjoy it.

There’s a small handful of people who got into tanning on the ground floor in the 80s. After 40 years in the industry, I’m still immensely proud of my company, the services we offer and our role in the communities where we do business. I’m feeling optimistic about the future of our industry and expect that 2019 will wrap up very strong – I hope you’re on the same track.
