WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – “Donate some green to get some tan!” Throughout the weekend of August 17-19, Sunstyle Tanning offered free tans for a donation to The Amanda Foundation during their “Dog Days of Summer” promotion.
In addition to providing 39 free tans for patrons, Sunstyle donated ten percent of the retail price for every lotion and tanning package purchased (excluding EFTs) during that week – a total of $500 to the charity. Everyone who donated was entered into a daily raffle with a chance to win up to three times. Sunstyle gave away three huge prize packages, each valued at $350 (retail)! The Amanda Foundation was also on hand with several animals that were available for adoption.
Founded in 1976, The Amanda Foundation has placed thousands of homeless animals. It is a non-profit organization that rescues dogs and cats that, through no fault of their own, are spending their last days at city and county shelters. “Whether you’re a tanner, an animal lover, or both, I can’t think of a better way to show your love of animals than donating to this cause,” said April Jaclyn, Sunstyle Tanning Manager. “It’s important to everyone at Sunstyle to give back to the community and this was one way for both two-legged and four-legged West Hollywood residents to benefit.”
